River Side Falconry Hawk Walks take place along the banks of the stunning Newburn Riverside following the Tyne. We begin the by introducing you to your walking partner, one of our Harris Hawks. Along the walk you will take in one of the more beautiful stretches of the river and may even get to see some of our local wildlife from Birds of Prey, Seals and even Otters.
Along the way we will pass major historical sites such as the site of the 1640 Battle of Newburn between the Scottish and English Armies and on to the Wlyam to waggon way, the birth place of George Stephenson.
The walk is available to all ages, some off road walking does take place so sensible footwear is advised.
The walk normally lasts around 90 minutes but can take as long as necessary to ensure the walk is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
On this walk I guarantee all of the stresses of modern life like work and bills will disappear.
THE ULTIMATE STRESS BUSTER.
Price £45 for one person.
